ViSit Anywhere 15.4.16 Release Notes

VA-FM, printing and navigation items

Reorganized the printing ribbon items in the FM page.

Enhanced the Site/Building/Floor gazetteers (sorting, column captions).

Fill Colorization on Framed Labels

In the VA GT cad engine, fixed a problem when a fill colorization is applied to a framed label.

Spatial Query

Added a ribbon item for creating a Linear Filter. This item is not in the default ribbon pages, but is available for the Quick Access Bar (in the 'Database' category). Such a filter will obviously work in Overlap mode only...

Vaw SnapIn

Fixed a memory problem in the ViSit Anywhere Maps extension, when publishing a large area in VAX.

Fixed a problem when publishing in non incremental mode.

CAD Export

When exporting to a DWG file (or DGN for VA MS), it is now possible to restrict the export to the extents of the current map or the current spatial filter. With this option, any element that is fully outside of the bounding box of the selected extent is not exported.

Multi-line Edit

Fixed a constraint error when editing several lines in a grid, when the edited column is associated with an external table.

Shape Data Import

Added support for the shape type 'PolygonZ'

Default Value

It was not possible, in a numeric column, to specify a default value smaller than 0.01. The default value editor now uses the format string of the column.

Created a Temporary URL for Windows XP Users

The new ViSit Anywhere project web site uses an SNI cretificate that is not recognized by older browsers, specifically Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP (that is used internally by the .NET framework on that platform).  A temporary URL has been added that depends on Microsoft's domain URL certificate (*.azurewebsites.net) and this will be used for the remainder of the life cycle of ViSit Anywhere on Windows XP.  ViSit Anywhere support for Windows XP ends with version 16.2.0.
